PRAYER

According to the weather reports, it is 122 degrees in Iraq right now in August - and the low will be 111! Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance, and safety. If it be God's will, give these men and women the strength they need to prevail.
Pray for our soldiers ...
"Dear Father in Heaven, Holy is your name, we come to you in Jesus name, petitioning for your grace upon the troops that are in Iraq . We ask that you keep them in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Please help them to make it thru the weather extremes. We pray also that you will give each leader wisdom. Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil. Please heal the broken hearted and encourage the down cast. Please bring this war to a quick resolve. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine &others deployed in harm's way, Prayer is the very best one!

Explanation For The Thirteen Compound Names of Yahweh

Yahweh-m'kaddesh,

The LORD Who Makes Holy

In the Law of Moses, God exhorts the children of Israel to keep and follow His Law. The Lord殢sp;declaration of Himself is, ͊ am Yahweh-mᤤesh, The LORD Who Makes Holy.p; The following is a prayer appropriating the name of Yahweh-mᤤesh, The LORD Who Makes Holy and the present work of Jesus as the author and perfecter of our faith in the life of a believer who is experiencing hardships.

Who am I? Lord Jesus, You are the LORD who makes holy, Yahweh-mᤤesh. You are the author and the perfecter of my faith. I thank You for the hardships of life. I affirm that it is Your love that motivates You in chastening me. I affirm that Your purpose in this trial is that I may share in Your holiness and that a harvest of righteousness and peace might be yielded in my life.

Lord Jesus, in Your life You sanctified Yourself that Your followers might be sanctified. You became sanctification on the cross. You learned obedience in the things You suffered and were made perfect through suffering. Through Your death I am dead to sin and through Your resurrection I am alive to You so that sin should no longer reign in my body. Now, You reign at the right hand of the Father and You are the author and perfecter of my faith.  Who am I that I should make my household or myself holy? Lord Jesus, set Yourself apart as the LORD who makes holy.  Protect my household from the evil one.  In the authority of Your name and by the power of Your blood, I rebuke every scheme and every work of the evil one to make _____________ (List your family members and the people the Lord Jesus is entrusting to you by name.) fall short of the grace of God through a bitter spirit, immorality or godlessness. Ask that this hardship of _______________ that we are enduring be of Your hand and Your hand alone.  In Your name, Lord Jesus, accomplish Your purpose in this trial that I may share in Your holiness. Yield a harvest of righteousness and peace in our lives through this hardship. As I study Your Word today, sanctify me in Your truth. In Your name!

Lord Jesus, I choose to look away from everything else unto You. I look away from ______________ and look to You. (List the people and situations that you, your family, and the people the Lord Jesus is entrusting to you are struggling with.) I choose to meditate on the way You endured the suffering of the cross and hardships at the hands of sinful men. You are the author of my faith. You are the perfecter of my faith. In Your name, Lord Jesus, set Yourself apart as the LORD who makes holy, Yahweh-mᤤesh in my life and my household this day. Amen.
